When visiting Paris a good start after checking in to your Paris Hotel is to have an overview over the city. This can be done either by a river cruise down the Seine or from a view from the Eiffel Tower. From Trocadero you can take the subway to Charles de Gaulle which is the station for Arc de Triopmhe.The monument is dedicated to the unknown soldier and has been the focus for patriotic events. From here on you can walk down the Champs-Élysées, the most prestige and wide street of Paris. Walking down you pass lots of Restaurants, Bars and shops. It is also the last stop on the tour de france.
Next stop is Louvre which is open till 22h
(10 p.m.) on Wednesdays and Fridays. You can spend your whole vacation in the Louvre, but when time is limited so should the visit at the Louvre be.
